The Change and uncertainty are givens in today’s world of work. My mission is to empower busy leaders and teams to level up performance and adaptive capacity to do great work together, better.

My clients recognize the need to adapt quickly and effectively to disruptive change and want to ensure the emotional well-being and relationships in their teams at the same time. I bring over 25 years of experience working in the private and public sectors and my client come from a wide range of sectors experiencing disruptive change, including the financial, insurance, municipal and not-for-profit sector.

As a Certified Adaptability Quotient (AQ) Coach, facilitator, trainer and executive coach, I help game-changing leaders realize their highest potential. Clients appreciate my ability to make sense of complexity and surface blind spots through my expertise and use of visual frameworks and models that engage teams experientially, not just intellectually.

Fascinated by maps ever since I was a young girl, I am passionate about helping my clients make sense of the complexity and challenges they face. In my award-winning book “Lead Conversations that Count: How Busy Managers Run Great Meetings,” I offer a framework and a roadmap to help emerging leaders and busy people prepare to have conversations that have impact, engagement, and get the most important work done well, together.

Whether through facilitation, training, or coaching, my commitment is to help my clients strengthen their adaptive capacity, both individually and collectively, nurture collaboration and meaningful relationships, and build buy-in to take action.

What Feeds My Head

I have insatiable curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning. Academically, I have a Masters degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Professionally, I am fascinated by the future of work and how the pace of change impacts team performance and well-being, so I became one of a handful of Canadians certified as an Adaptability Quotient Practitioner. This is an amazing assessment technology that measures 15 different and needed dimensions that make up adaptability.

I’ve trained extensively with Grove Consultants International in Strategic Visioning and am a certified Grove Team Performance Practitioner. My perspective is highly interdisciplinary and holistic, and I completed my training in Organizational and Relationships System Coaching (ORSC™) through CRR Global. I love reading about neuroscience, organizational culture, leadership, creativity, and global issues – and my book club helps me stay current on great works of fiction too!

What Feeds My Heart

In my spare time, I’m an avid theatre and science fiction fan. I am a member of The Riverdale Players, a community musical theatre troupe in my hometown of Toronto, ON that raises funds to support at-risk children and provide teacher training in impoverished villages in Africa and in First Nations communities in Canada. I also sing in AltVox, a community choir that sings great rock and roll tunes. I’m brushing off my tennis game and have recently become a Pickleballer as well!

What Feeds My Soul

I’m a mom of 3 amazing young adults. They have been, and continue to be, my greatest teachers and inspirations. Living on the shores of Lake Ontario is such a blessing. My daily cold dips in the lake (yes, even in the winter!), walking the beach with my doggo, and taking time to commune with Mother Nature are precious practices that make me smile and fuel my soul.
